What Is Social Emotional Learning?
A framework used by educators and organizations worldwide.
SEL is the process through which people develop and apply the skills to manage emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Defined by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), SEL encompasses five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
These aren't soft skills — they're essential life skills that shape how we show up at school, at work, and in our communities every single day.
